How to Receive Donations from FCT

The Foothills Club of Tucson would LOVE to partner with your organization! Please consider applying for one of our (5) $2,000 grants awarded quarterly! Applications are due September 1st, December 1st, March 1st and June 1st each funding year. Applications are reviewed by a committee to ensure all guidelines are met. The earlier you submit in each giving cycle ensures your application meets all of the criteria. Member sponsors will be asked create a 2-minute pitch video for the entire membership to view. And members will vote for their top grants requests. Your organization will find out shortly after voting if you will receive funding. Please see the funding guidelines below.

Eligibility

With the mission of helping as many children as we can within our community, we encourage all organizations supporting children in need to apply. Groups and organizations who serve Tucson’s youth, up to the age of 18 years old, qualify for submission. Services that support an individual child are acceptable; however, funding cannot go directly to the individual. A current non-profit status will be required. We request that funding directly benefits the child/children of your program. We will not fund grants for administrative costs, salaries or facility expenses.

Please complete the Funding Request application in full, do not leave any blanks. Additional information about your organization that may be helpful in fulfilling your request can be included.

However, it is required to include:

  • Application
  • Current W9 Form (Signed & Dated for the Current Year)
  • A breakdown of how each dollar requested will be used in the program. For example: Supplies, Registration, Bedding, Transportation, etc.
  • Most recent financial statement
  • How will the FCT be recognized for their grant
  • FCT Member Sponsor name

Deadlines

Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis for a total of 4 funding cycles. Applications are due no later than September 1st, December 1st, March 1st, and June 1st based on our fiscal year. You may submit your request at any time prior to these dates, the earlier submit your application our team is able to review and ensure all criteria has been met. Organizations are eligible to apply during all funding cycles. If your organization is not selected within the application funding cycle, you are welcome and encouraged to re-apply the next quarter. Grant applications will be voted on by membership during our October, January, April and July membership meetings. Organizations will be notified shortly after voting.
